Another Melbourne based Didjeridu player has released a solo album that has been picked up and distributed - quite wisely too - by the folks at New World Productions in Brisbane (big ambient recording moguls). Mark Nolan, otherwise known as Eagle, has released the didj album simply titled 'Eagle'. It's a good rounded production with simple and strong rhythms (supported by some subtle percussion) presented on some tracks, balanced with tracks that are ambient and open textured with lots of vocals and bull-roarer. The album would be an excellent purchase for someone just coming in to Didj, because the rhythms are very clear and easy to get hold of - though difficult enough to emulate.
