Waitch (The Emu) combines the sounds of the Australian bush with the haunting sounds of the didgeridoo - this work takes the listener on a walkabout through the south-west of Western Australia - it takes place in a day, beginning with the magical sounds of dawn alongside a lake and the listener journeys down river to the ocean, returning inland in the afternoon, hearing native birds and animals along the way and experiencing the changing weather, including an approaching thunderstorm - night follows, ending where the journey began, at dawn.
