Comments:
Sung and played by native musicians. Program notes (in English) by L.M. West on jacket and inserted in jacket. Cassette tape, Dolby B. Dubbed from a vinyl record on file at University of Illinois archives.
Reviewer:

This cassette of the original Wattle recording is of remarkable sound quality. There are two skips on bands A1 & A2. All of the original recordings liner notes have been transcribed onto the J-slip.

This is probably one of the most superb collections of traditional works I have heard. Of all the field recording series, I highly recommend this one for its great variety and excellent quality of material. Recorded in various regions of Arnhemland, this tape is a must have for all interested in traditional playing.
